The Leader and Still Champion!

You’re probably going to see a flurry of Christmas giveaway sites in the days and weeks ahead. I just wanted to let you know that the leader and still champion is the one that started it all back in 2003.

It’s called “The 12 Days of Christmas” and it’s organized by a really great guy named Mark Hendricks (you’ve probably heard of him, he’s one of the top internet experts in the world).

Unlike the others, Mark actually takes the time to look at each and every gift submission and builds his pages and linking entirely by hand. Not for him the automated software that has been developed by his copycats who want to ride on his success with this type of promotion.

He still does this the old-fashioned way and looks at everybody’s gifts, links and pages to make sure it’s really good stuff for you (believe me, he really puts his contributors through their paces)! And if it’s not good enough, he sends it back to the applicant for further work for resubmission, or just let’s them know it’s not quite good enough.

I’ve heard that he’s got something very special going on this year, kind of a new twist that he’s developed — and I’m not allowed to tell you what it is, but let’s just say I think you’ll be blown away at what he’s done again this year for you.

www.WOWeBooktoAudio.com has also launched, although we are still working out a few kinks. Free access links for all www.WOWContentClub.com members will be added to the site at the next update on the 15th.

www.TheWOWEmpire.com – Beta version is almost ready to roll but cannot get it from the coder because the cable has been out in his city and he has had no internet connection for over a week. Ask me if I am ready to tear my hair out!

Latest message from Coder (11/12) :

Due to weekend I was not able to get my new connection installed. I am at a cybercafe writting this message. Currently we have about 95% of NEB coded. Now we can start integrating the backend with software, so that they can start interacting with each other.

I am currently working on the keyword part. When that is done we will integrate it with the template browser part and then with the graphics browser part. I have everything ready.

The WOW Content Club Undergoes a Complete Makeover

I am thrilled to announce a secret that I have kept under wraps for a few weeks, but I am far too excited to keep silent any longer. The www.WOW-Content-Club.com  is undergoing major rennovations. We are switching over – a process long overdue – to a php/MySQL database format, more along the lines of Amazon.com – but even more sophisticated – that will allow both our members and prospective members to search and find our products with amazing ease.

•  This database will be searchable by product title or by author. The title name will, of course, cover both books and software.
•  The search results pages will be developed with an easy navigation interface, which will not only allow you to move easily from one page to another, but even jump pages ahead or back.
•  The database will “time” stamp every product, so that I will no longer have to manually retire package products at the end of two months. This will be taken care of automatically.
•  The database will allow products to be viewable to members, non-members or just to admin, meaning me (this would be products that are not yet ready for prime time).  I can also easily adjust products back and forth from “no view” status to “all view” status.
•  The site itself will have a whole new look, feel and design.

And a whole lot more…  much of it having to do with a bunch of easier-to-use administrative tools. I don’t have to tell you that maintaining a site the size and scope of the www.WOW-Content-Club.com has become just too big for it to be managed any longer in html format.

We currently have well over 5000 products, and I average adding over 100 products a month. This just couldn’t be kept up without switching over to a more sophisticated solution.

The www.WOW-Content-Club.com is already the ONLY full spectrum content provider online – and if we are not already the largest content provider online – it is only a matter of time:-)

I was supposed to get a full update along with a BETA version of the software yesterday (11-3) from the coder, but as luck would have it, the cable in his home town snapped and he is now without an internet connection until Monday. So… once again I am forced to wait.. and you are forced to wait… but I can promise you that things are moving along and the wait will not be much longer.
